We found an electrical nightmare of exposed wires that had scorched the framing around it as well as the wall and insulation. Luckily it had not yet caused a major fire. Our licensed electricians were able to replace the electrical components so that they operated safely to code before our insulation team added proper insulation to the attic.

Plumbing Safety Inspection – A Leaky Water Heater Causing Major Damage
When we went to another home here in Phoenix, AZ, for a routine plumbing safety inspection, we found a water heater that was in terrible shape. Now, it’s not that uncommon to find water heaters in need of replacement as they typically only last about 8-10 years. In this case, however, the water heater was corroded and had been leaking for a while, ending up causing a lot of property damage to the home.

We put so much more stress on our electrical systems than we used to. Homes built in the 60s, ’70s and ’80s were not equipped to provide the amount of electricity a modern home uses. In one electrical safety inspection we performed on a house, we found a panel that was way overworked and almost fried to a crisp.
