Today Hobaica performed the semi-annual/Summer maintenance on my AC unit. My technician was ALEX B who has been out here before - but it has been a while. He arrived on time and was so efficient - he completed the entire service check in about a 1/2 hour. He emailed me the invoice complete with pictures of EVERYTHING! Everything checked out. It was such a pleasure to have him out here again. Another 5 STAR service! Thanks, Alex B!

UPDATE TO REVIEW: December 17, 2020, had my annual maintenance service performed by Hobaica Service technician, Tom Hayes. He arrived at my home right on time and performed the maintenance efficiently with very little disruption to my home/normal activities. Another positive experience with Hobaica.

I recently decided to purchase a new AC system because my existing was almost 20 years old. I talked to multiple companies and obtained three estimates, which ran the gamut on both price and service orientation – and that’s where things got tricky. Two of the three companies were not honest with me. So as much as I didn’t want to I decided to obtain 2-3 more quotes. I contacted Hobaica (I had never heard of them before) based on a friend’s good experience. Andy H. (comfort consultant) came out to the house and met with me. I knew he had really listened to what was important to me because his quote was on point with those things. As I walked him to the door I told him I had two more companies to talk to - and then I stopped myself – I realized I didn’t need to look any further – Andy quoted me a system that was everything I wanted (and he was the second lowest price of the four quotes I received). So I closed the deal then and there. This was on Monday – with a Wednesday install date. The crew showed up on time Wednesday morning and the demo and install took only 3.5 hours (inclusive of both a compressor and an air handler). Upon completion, I was not satisfied with the install – there were issues – and I did not feel comfortable paying for the work until these were addressed. As it turns out I didn’t need to worry - Hobaica responded quickly to my concerns. They sent Jim H. out the next morning to address my issues. He was very pleasant; again – he listened, then he discussed alternatives with me and he ensured I was satisfied with the proposed solutions before any work began (which they originally scheduled for the next day but which we pushed to the following week - with Jim actually completing all this work himself). I was very impressed by (and grateful for) Hobaica’s response: their attitude, their willingness to make sure I was not just satisfied but “delighted,” and the speed with which they completed the work. Everything was resolved during that service call. I am now a very satisfied customer –with both the Lennox unit I purchased and the service I received. Based on their performance to-date, I am convinced if I do have issues in the future Hobaica will take care of them expeditiously. I definitely recommend Hobaica. They are service oriented with a capital “S.” They earned my trust. (And I think I got a really good deal from them, too!) Thank you Andy H, Jim H, Dammond L. and Jose G.
